I took a commission in the winter of 2016.  The commissioner, inspired by a vision of St. Julian of Norwich, asked me to paint a realistic oil painting of any kind of nuts I may have available around to set a nice still life composition with nuts. So, I took some walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds and also a brown paper bag and sat this still life composition.
